Beulah Land
"beware of long-haired girls named beulah, even the ones whose hair is short."
Beulah Land is a hallucinatory new musical satire by Patrick Nash about a performer and a flyer distributor at a Times Square strip club, circa 1992. It's also the story of Prawnbath, a mythical tribute band to all the worst East Village performance artists that ever sat in a bar dreaming of fame while never actually performing, or even learning to play musical instruments. And it's the story of a visionary pharmaceutical company that helps transform lives and neighborhoods from depraved, cynical ruins, to wellness. Beulah Land brings hope for a better, more prosperous, business-friendly future for all of us.
Beulah Land ran at theater 122cc in New York’s East Village in August, 2019.
